'Mode': AROUND
Category: Subway/Metro
Getting TO/AROUND: Subway or Metro!!! (I think I know all the subway stations by now) :-) Strangely enough, there are only two lines, though this has a lot to do with the impossibility to dig a lot under the surface of the city, but even with lines A and B, it is manageable to move around. Their crossing point is Termini station, a CHAOS of its own kind where it is advisably to be careful with the personal belongings. Depending on the duration of your stay, I'd suggest buying a weekly ticket. It costs 16 euros and you can move around for one week, as much as you want. Really practical. Also the buses. In case you go out and you end up partying too long - no worries, cause there are night buses all the time. Just make sure you see the night schedule. Taxi is also an option, if you don't feel like waiting. More expensive but then again the amount can be shared among three or four friends.
