When I first came across "VT" I never really thought it would have such an effect upon my life, the social part of it especially, since I've managed to get in touch with many people all over the world. I'm glad there is, at least, ONE place (hopefully there are more) where people realize how similar and how different we all are. The differences that exist are the ones making this World COLORFUL and INTERESTING, and in my opinion, they shouldn't be an obstacle in the communication. On the contrary, just one more motivating factor to LEARN MORE, try more, experience more, see more...
I guess, VT is definitely a GOOD place to start!

on my thirtythird birthday

So, finally a typical winter day in Skopje, right after a three-day celebration of my 33rd birthday - yeah, I felt like kicking the year off with a bang! (and on that note, a new photo taken by a dear friend of mine who always manages to capture... essence, in this case the essence of what turning 33 felt like: content, happy, kind of mature but still cherishing a childish curiosity about what's to come)

2012 was modest in terms of travel, a visit to Berlin and two visits to Paris, but I'm planning on reaching a few more places in 2013. We'll see.

Skopje is continuously being violated... but, that's a long story. If you decide to visit, do write/ask/consult - I'd be happy to help.

Traveling, to me, is literally SPIRITUAL FOOD. It is by far the most opening, mind-broadening experience. It offers a chance to explore two worlds simultaneously: the outside World, with all the discovered (and undiscovered) wonders, and also the "inner self."
It has enabled me to realize that the only "official nationality" I would ever accept as a description of myself, would be: "Cosmopolitan" or Citizen of the World. I've never been good with limits, borders, narrow-mindedness...
So, it's not difficult to understand why I've enjoyed creating "my place" within this community.

PS. I have received on several occasions some provocations by ... certain people. I just wanna say: I WILL NEVER reply to any of them. I have no intention to get into stupid, pointless, senseless and time-wasting arguments. We're all entitled to our own opinion, and I'd much rather communicate with open people. So... it's up to you whether you'll choose to get to know me, and something about this little country, or not... Thanks!

YOU SEE THE MESSAGE written above??? I wrote that ... a long time ago. But, it doesn't seem to reach everyone. WHY CERTAIN people choose to send me messages telling me that I am "this" or "that", or that my country is "this" or "that", is BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION. And I am fairly intelligent. Please, get a life people and do not waste it trying to tell me what my identity is.

Kitty and Maria

Miss Kitty. She actually came to our doorstep (mind you we live on the 14th floor), after wandering around for... who-knows how long... and so we took her in. And it changed our lives completely so... even before I knew that animals are so special but now I REALLY cannot understand the people who don't like them.
