I felt just fine living in the bohemian (read: sweaty, unkempt and disgusting) fashion of the packpacker ... until I got to Milano. The Milanese possessed a sense of style, elegance and poise that really makes one feel like a slob. But anyway, I digress. This is a city with a few extraordinary sights and not much else. There's the magnificent duomo, the impressive Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle shopping arcade, and, of course, the mind-blowingly graceful Last Supper, or Cenacolo, by Da Vinci, housed in the spare Santa Maria delle Grazie convent.
