Why does this city have such a bad rep? Granted, some areas are depressed. And many of the people can be quite brusque with foreigners. And I was nearly mugged in broad daylight. But man, there is such a wealth of things to see and do in Palermo. But, as LeVar Burton would say, don't take my word for it! Have a look at the pics.
