Everybody has to be from somewhere they say. That doesn’t quite apply to myself as I come from many places, a true victim of the modern age where the world keeps getting smaller. One figure that does come from somewhere is the famous Baron von Münchausen. Known as the “biggest liar in the world”, he has his origin in the town of Bodenwerder by the Weser River. There is a museum, and I can recommend reading the “tall” stories about him. The story from the picture goes something like this; He came from battle, and stopped to let his horse drink. Then he started wondering why it never got full. He turned around and saw half the horse missing!!!!
This is a page I will need some time to write. I am half German of blood and have a lot of relatives here.
I have mostly been in the Weser erea south of Hannover.

I am visiting Germany in 3 weeks time staying about 80 miles north of Dusseldorf, hope it is as beautiful as some of your pictures
OK, now tell me, I have one bottle of "Asbach", any good tips how to use it?
No overlapping between our two Germany's. Love to explore this area someday.
I'm off to Germany tomorrow for only a week. Wish I could stay a year. There's too much to see for only a week.
Ahhh, I see it now :)
