A little off the beaten path outside Bergen. A stone stands here in rememberence of the Viking King, Haakon the Good.

The picture above is also the exact spot were tragedy happened. The « MS Rocknes» upturned Monday afternoon January 19th 2004, with a crew of 30. 12 were saved and the rest are missing/dead.

The monument in rememberance to King Håkon the Good. It stands alone guarding the fjord.....

This happens also to be the place were my boat goes on land during the winter :-)
