Getting to Fair Isle

You can get to Fair Isle from the Shetland Islands both by Plane and boat. See the link below for more details.
We got there like many others out for an adventure, with our own boat.

Just walk....

The best (and just about only) way to get about Fair Isle is simply to walk. Distances are not far, and you can walk the whole island from north to south in a couple of hours.
There are some cars, and if you're lucky you might be able to hitch a ride, though I didn't try that.
I think I heard talk of some form of taxi service.
