Tulips are everywhere! It's spring!

Not so much on this website anymore. I never got used to the new Layout. I have only a few pictures to upload, but very many beautiful memories.

If you browse through my pages you will notice I allmost loved every place I ever visited. I guess I just enjoy travelling. My favourite ingredients for trips are:

1. Some contact with the locals
2. Great scenery
3. Good food
4. Some history and culture
5. Some sun

Every journey starts with a single step, but some also start with a flight outbound.
Here's my favorite airborne picture, taken on my first trip on an aircraft. It is somewhere over Florida about a decade ago.

I was on my way to be a foreign exchange student in the YFU program. Since than I have tried to visit more of the world, and I have shown more of my homecountry The Netherlands to the world.

Now I'm doing mostly virtual travelling allthough once in a while I actually go somewhere.

My favorite page is Thailand, I took some beautiful pictures, but that is easy as Thailand just is breathtaking.

I have created a shopping tour with a touch of history though my hometown Leiden. Hope you have a chance to try it out and tell me what you thought. I am thinking about creating a historical tour as well, please check back!
