This is one of the most important vine-growing areas in the world, not just in Castilla and Leon.
It extends around the river Duero, from the lands of Soria and Burgos, passing through the North of the province of Segovia, to Valladolid.
The Denominacion de origen Ribera del Duero includes sixty municipalities. One of them is Castrillo de la Vega, maye you are drinking my family wine lol

|
With an own "Denominacion de origen" you have to try the Lechazo of Aranda de Duero.
Due to the special vegetation on the area, the flavour of this lamb is different to the normal lamb, more like a milky flavour.
