General Tips: Itinerary - Andalucia and Costa del sol.

Favorite Thing: Suggested duration: 10 days. If you do in less you will not be able to enjoy it.
I suggest flying to Malaga and there to rent a car to visit the other sites.
In summer if you are looking for fun and nightlife I would suggest Marbella or Fuengirola or Torremolinos from here you can combine tourist visits and nightlife with nature resorts.
'Musts' are the Mosque (Mezquita) of Cordoba, the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz, the Torre del Oro and the Cathedral's Museum in Sevilla.
The Alhambra (palace of the last Moorish kings) and the Jewish Quarter of the Alcaiceria in Granada are just other examples.

Favorite Thing: ALMERIA is contrast. Deserts, mountains and amazing beaches, all in one. Its beaches are sandy and flat, with many intimate coves. The Alpujarras region, which extends into the province of Granada, offers a fascinating landscape. The desert with a visit to Tabernas and Mini Holliwood Park is a must. The Natural park of Cabo de Gata visiting the beaches of Monsul, Los Escullos, de los Genoveses.... Almeria and its Alcazaba and Cathedral. And my favorite place: Almerimar, just down the Ejido, where after the plastic culture a little paradise appears. Its port is beautiful.
Fondest Memory: See my Almeria Page for more information The name of Almeria proceed from the Arabic and means "mirror of the sea".

General Tips: Cadiz

Favorite Thing: For two wonderful years I have lived in Cadiz a really nice city to visit if you have time, preferable in Carnival season. My experience in Cadiz was great, even if my studies at Sea Sciences University were catastrophic! But late I realized that what I really like was being with people and client services and attention to the public, etc ... that it is what I am doing right now.
Fondest Memory: Cadiz is the oldest European city, was an important harbor during the golden age-period for its commerce with the "new world". It has an impressive cathedral and the atmosphere is incredible during Carnival. The Coast is magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Thing: Cordoba offers rich and varied monuments: The Mezquita The fortress of the Christian Kings or Omega Gardens with beautiful gardens, The Synagogue, The ruins of Medina Azahara The Jewish quarters.
Fondest Memory: If you go to Cordoba try to go in May. Each weekend there is something. The first one is the Cruces, the Patios, the festival and another one that I don’t remember (the festival of the wine, just remember it) , but try to visit the second one, the patios is absolute brilliant! .... Do not miss it!

|
Favorite Thing: Granada is a famous city and not only because the Alhambra and all the muslin style monuments. The best time to come and visit Granada is in September & October or April & may, it is not to hot and not to cold. If you want to see something typically Spanish you should come to the Cruces, this festival is on the 3rd of May and all the streets are full filled of flowers and outside music and pubs Granada has a lot of Baroque Architecture that it is not as famous but is equally beautiful to visit. Granada is a university town and offers a range of amenities comparable to those of any modern city. As well you will be able to do skiing in the highest mountain of Spain. Sierra Nevada.
Fondest Memory: The Alhambra is my place, what can i say... also their “tapas”. The old Arabic part of the city: the "Albaicín", The Cathedral with the Royal Chapel The "Cartuja"-monastery. The Carrera del Darro The Sacromonte Hill Also some excursions: Visit las alpujarras, Sierra nevada and Granada coast: Costa Tropical
