Hoge Veluwe National Park - Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe

De Hoge Veluwe park us one of the Netherlands' largest National Parks.

The park is a mix of forests, woods, shifting sands and heath moors.

The park is unique because of its combination of art, nature and architecture.

The Kröller-Müller Museum has a large collection of Van Gogh paintings and also from Picasso, Seurat ...

There is also a large sculpture garden.

the park is great to visit by bike or walking.

You also can ask for children's bicycles for the kids, and there are also special bicycles for the disabled.

You can buy a map at the entrance which shows the walking routes. that i can promise you, it was very useful, once someone told us where we were after we got lost lol

Pros and Cons

Pros:There is a lot to see and do in the Hoge Veluwe. Plan on a full day here enjoying nature and culture in a perfect setting that has something for the whole family.
In a nutshell:It is "well worth the trip".

Very nice Carmen ,very nice page mmm I can go for an Ice cream ,do you want one hehe . De Hoge Veluwe is nice eh.a very nice area is de Veluwe in the Netherlands. See you in California Carmen in two months and a week.

The Hoge Veluwe has more to offer and looks more beautiful than I thought. Shifting sands in my own country, who would've thought... Have to pay a visit someday!

Great page Carmen! Wow, brings back memories of the last time I was here! I had gorgeous sunshine, but a very strong wind, phew that was hard to bike in, LOL. Great to see a Hoge Veluwe page on VT! And yes, a beautiful place indeed!
