Restaurant Name: O P�tio

It was by pure chance that we founded on our first night this little and cosy restaurant. We arrived to the hotel late and tired after working and driving all day. We hoped to have a quiet meal there and a drink before going bed and wake up fresh for the next day. But that day the hotel had the restaurant fully book, so they told us to go the city center. We walked along the old town for a while not finding anything but enjoying our visit at night through Tavira when crossing the roman bridge I spotted the restaurant.

It was excellent. The service, the food make it a very special place to be. The tourist office the next day also recommended us this place for a special treatment

Favorite Dish: For starters they show you a selection of cheeses (take both they are incredible) sardines and tuna paste, olives etc. We just loved the cheese ones so much that we had to came back ;-)

For main courses you have selections of meat and fish, all at good prices, very well presented with a separate dish of salad and fresh fried potatoes. The sauces that went with the meats or fish were very interesting too.

We went again and we will be back ;-)

Restaurant Name: Snooker Bar Avenida

It was so nice to be back to normal prices (prices before euro when a coffe was 100 ptas = 0,60 cent of Euro) that we went back a few times.

They did not overcharge us for being tourist, and they were very nice and helpful all the time
