Getting TO/AROUND: Atocha, train station, close to the Reina Sofia and Del Prado musseums and El Retiro Park.

Special tips for sundays: in the morning go to the flea market: El Rastro, and before 2:30 (they close at that time) try to visit any of this two musseums that are free on this day.

Getting TO/AROUND: From Barajas airport you can get to city center through the underground, you can stop at Nuevos mInisterios or Mar de Plata to join other tube lines

the web page is very sueful as it containes map plans that help you to find what you are looking for, and the closest station to your destination

Taxis are ridiculous expensive to airport

Getting TO/AROUND: Barajas airport, a abusy one, we really need a bigger one ;-)

You can see how is it from the air.

Most of the flights to another continents arrive and land from Madrid or Barcelona airport, so they are some of the busiest.

Malaga is the 3rd busieer in international flights ;-) too many charters, but in madrid you will find all the conexions to all aprts of Spain
