I founded a good offer through a web site an Spanish one (www.rumbo.es), normal prices in low season are 100 Euros per night double room, and we got them for 50 Euros per night.
Hotel is well situated, less than 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral, staff is very welcoming, even if it is only 3 stars, the quality is much better (but they do not have restaurant, they only have cafeteria with snacks)

ok, still i can nt afford it, but this is a place that deserves a look, what a wonderful building.
It is next to Puerta de Jerez, so by sure you will apss by in many ocasions during your Sevilla visits

This could be your option, not the most posh place, not city center but close to it. At the Triana distric just five minutes walking to torre del Oro (lots of places to eat and terraces around much cheaper than in city center specially at Plaza de Cuba) From 40 euros the night a double room with a little kitchen.

Maybe not as cheap as the previous one, but sited on the very Santa Cruz distric, lots of restaurants and souvenirs shops around. An apartment for 3 people is 73 euros per night. The apartment was brand new from 2004 (the hotel outide looks older, but is really good for a 2 stars you can get double rooms from 50 euros) the best the location, the only con, was that we had to park the car in a nearby garage and is 15 euros per 24 hours, also we had to walk about 5-10 minutes with the luggage around the distric as there is no chance to get the car nearby (without getting lost of course)
