As it is in the middle of the peninsula on the mountains, I can not place it in any city, so I will use the region for it.

It was pure chance that we decided to see it. We saw a sign saying temple and we though "Umm mountain tracks & temple that sounds fun" But there was not many signs for a while, nothing on the maps and we wondered for a while if we were on the right track.

finally we arrived and we were glad we decided to go.

This temple decicated to Apolo the helper is part of the Worlds heritage list as it is very well preserved. not affected by the wars or polution as others it is protected to prevent from the hard climate of the top of the mountains that may have spoil it.

For me what it makes special is that is far away from the tourist buses and hardly anyone visits it. when the landscape and the trip just deserves the visit, so to visit the temple is even an extra.
