"Euromeet2007 Here we go!" a Greece Travel Page by Carmela71

It was not an easy decision as we had to leave for another year the big trip we want one day to .... but Greece is always a good excuse and one of my favorite mediterranean countries (and their people).

So after 20 years I will be back! (I guess It may have changed a little!) ;-)

Plans are to arrive to Athens on Friday the 25th, stay 2 nights, ready for the boat trip on the 27th, arrive on Friday to Santorini for the meeting and on Monday plane to Athens to pick up a car and visit Peloponneso.

Plans change along, now we are three, half of the Stace´s harem is travelling with us, yes you may remember her from the Vt meeting in marbella, my friend Sandra. We ar ready for another great trip!

That was a wonderful summer, you are only sixteen only once. We went to Greece for one week and we enjoyed at maximum. Travelling all day long and partying all the night long.

Greece it´s not only the islands (that are beautiful as well), Athenas in particular is one of the culturally richest cities I have ever been.

Every time I saw any of their monuments I could not understand How they managed to construct all that.

Pleople at Athenas were very friendly with us.

And the Partenon cautivated me for the rest of the days

Viaje de fin de curso, vernao del 88, 16 años, que mas puedo añadir..., ya os imaginareis el resto. Fuimos a Grecia por una semana y la aprovechamos al maximo, como ahora ya no puedo.

Durante el dia excursiones a las islas, a Corinto, Delfos, Micenas, olimpia, Epidauro ...

y por la noche de fiesta hasta la madrugada (la verdad es que una ya no esta para estas juergas, jajaja).

cada vez que veo Epidauro o el partenon, sigo sin entender como fueron capaces de construirlo, o mas aun, de llevar a imaginarselo. Asi podemos comprobar en pleno siglo de inventos y descubrimientos, que los nuestros son juegos de niños comparados a los de ellos!

me cautivaron sus piedras, sus recuerdos y la amabilidad de su gente!

Grecia tiene numerosos hermosos lugares que visitar tanto por su pasado histórico como por sus maravillosos paisajes.
