Day 1 Excursion to the North We visited on our first day to the North, I am afraid we only had time to visit the gardens, so hopefully i iwll visit it with more time in my next visit.
The excursion to the gardens is a must do activity if you go to Israel, it is beautiful, Really.
After this, we went to Akko to visit the port and enjoy a lovely restuarant, and finished the day visiting the grottes of Ros Hanigra. A perfect one day excursion. |
| | Haifa is Israel biggest port.
The city is divided into four major areas: the lower city area (the port, residential neighborhoods & beaches), the bay area (industrial zone), Hadar Hacarmel area and Mt. Carmel area. |
THE BAHAI SHRINE I am afraid as I said we only visited this in Haifa, but it was great!
This beautiful gardens are located on Mt. Carmel and it is the site of the Administrative and Spiritual Center of the Baha'i Shrine. | | |
