Timna Park is around 30 km north of Eilat.

We went to visit it while our visit to Eilat, as I always wanted to see the solomon pillars, but it was even far better that what i expected, as the whole Israel.

it is sited at the Arava desert, here you can see incredible geological formations and other archeologies founds.

At the entrance of the aprk you can see the map showing all the itineraries.

Some of the attractions of the park that are incluyed on the price are:

Mines of Time: The multimedia show at the entrance telling you about the aprk and a generla information.

Valley of Inscriptions: An open-air museum with rock carvings from the Egyptian era

Colored sand bottles:

“Pressing” King Solomon’s copper coins

“NechushTimna”: A re-creation and demonstration of the ancient methods of smelting copper. We missed this one

Sand in different colours, beautiful rock formations and carvings on the rock, sounds like an interesting place!
