The French Polynesian group of islands can be found smack in the Pacific Ocean nowhere, product of volcanic eruptions.

I spent the last five days of my 1-year round-the-world trip in Moorea, lying on the sand, soaking in the sun, splashing around the gentle waves and resting my brain. Yes, I merely existed.

It was paradise and the PERFECT way to end my trip.
