I wanted to visit Jordan because of the final scenes in [ Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ].

And, thanks Harrison, my Petra experience turned out to be my most memorable & wonderful experience with locals in a country - ever. Not that I'm significant to them in any way... I'm sure, from their point of view, there's always another tourist coming by.

But to me, it was really a treasured encounter... to come into contact with the incredible generosity of the Bedouins; it was a brief insight into their current lives... very watered down from the good old days of living in Petra mountains.

Forgive me but I shall scan in pictures that are not so cliche and are personally delightful to me.
