Accommodation in London is expensive to very expensive. You are better getting a package vacation or staying in a Youth hostel. (plenty of choice) Bed and Breakfasts offer a reasonable alternative , but can sometimes be a little out of the way ( 20 mins or more by public transport )

Hotel Ibis offer decent standards of comfort and amenities at reasonable prices
