I´ve been to denmark three times until now. The first time was some 15 years ago with my family and a friend. We were staying somewhere right at the sea. I only remember it was cool but we also had a lot of rain.
Then i went back for last New Years and stayed with 8 friend at the western coast at a rental house for 5 days. It was damn cold and freezing and the streets were covered with a thick ice layer. No need for ice skates anyway!
The third time i went back to see my danish friend for a weekend in Copenhagen. And as i´ve never been there before i was expecting something cool. I mean a cool big town. At least it´s the capital of denmark, so it´s should be offering something, right? But the town itself was somewhat disappointing. But i guess you can mainly blame it on the weather: snow, -10°C, icy wind...
I haven´t had that much snow in years. Almost reaching up to my hips. But it makes you realizes that somewhere deep inside of you there´s still hiding the kid. My stay was fun though. But if you only go to see Copenhagen: don´t expect too much!!
