We took the train in from Amsterdam this year and managed to snag 'free' rooms at the new Hilton Arc de Triomphe. Although this was a quickie visit we managed to hit the main attractions and no crowds. It helped that we showed up a day after a major national student and union strike/protests. |
| Paris, for our 15th Anniversary |
|  | Paris, a wonderful spot for our 15th Anniversary 18 years since my last visit, and the first for my wife.
On my first visit, spent a week in the suburbs with an Aunt & Uncle and took the Metro to the sights daily. Also managed to stop through a couple other times during my '81 'vagabond' tour of Europe.
This visit was special, for we were in the 'City of Love' on our anniversary! |
