Like Rex - A good traveller is either on trail or dreaming of places to be, constantly seeking new experiences and challenges and always maintaining an acceptance of the ways of other folk.
As for myself, I've never been too keen on tourist traps or big cities. I prefer the small towns and the company of locals. A hotel to me is just somewhere to store my gear while I explore the area. A cheap hotel seems just like an expensive one when the lights are out; if it wasn't for the sounds of the rats rustling about it would be perfect.
