    • Kaaibakken is a old game in past time played on the ice in wintertime. In the last 20 years the Veenkoloniaal Museum in Veendam organised every year a national championship, trying to prevent it will be forgotten. Kaaibakken is played in the eastern parts of the Netherlands and in the northern part of Germany. The rules may be different in every village.

    Last year (2005) this championship was also in Nieuwe Pekela.
    On saturday 13 may 2006 at 13.00 hr the games will start.
