Theme: Beach Activities
It`s Australia so the thing to do is hit the beach and go surfing. There are plenty of places to go too. During a reception in Perth our friends Jen and Michael tossed us the keys to their apartment in Manly and told us to have fun `there`s a surf board in the kitchen, enjoy yourselves` well we went to the beach but we didn`t surf, we had a good look around the shops though. Thanks guys!

Sailing, Australians are great at it and here`s why. Every night and all weekend this is the view across Sydney harbour, they get plenty off practise.

It seems as though every evening the whole of Sydney comes home from work and gets out on the water, we certainly don`t see anything like this on the thames.

On Australia Day the waters arond the harbour were teeming with boats and ships of all sorts, there were races and cruises and hooning and it all looked like lots of fun from where I was sitting.
