"Sydney - I love this city!" a Sydney Travel Page by Steve-H

Well what were you expecting? an obligatory picture of the opera house perhaps or that magnificent steel edifice the harbour bridge? There is so much more to Sydney than that, as friends were only too happy to show me.
The ferry rides, the shopping, great restaurants and fantastic bars, the botanical gardens with it`s nightly migration of giant fruit bats, Climbing the harbour bridge (thanks Dan) the opal stores, the beaches (I like Manly and Bondi) the circular quays, the surfing, the sunshine and the all round good vibes. Ive been there many times now and it`s not enough, nowhere near enough, to take it all in, you would have to live here to appreciate this vibrant and unique city, how I envy every one of it`s inhabitants. Picture taken in the Lowenbrau Keller on Argyll Steeet, almost under the Harbour Bridge & shortly before we were all under the table.

Early morning, commuting by boat sure beats the tube. The water and the harbour in particular play a large part of life in Sydney.

Let`s face it, you can`t avoid it. But if you can get the Opera House in the same shot you can be twice as boring, they're nice for a while but there really is so much more to Sydney. Read on.
