The Burswood hotel is a one-stop place for luxury accomodation and entertainment. It has its own casino, theatres, bars and restaurants.
During the year Burswood offers special accommodation packages to concert ticket holders. I took this opportunity and booked tickets online for the Sarah Brightman concert and got a special package for one night's accommodation in a luxurious River Suite overlooking the Swan River, complete with bed and breakfast. This only cost AUD 220.00. Staying at the Burswood was one of the highlights of my trip.
Unique Qualities: The Suite had a large marble bathroom with a large bath, separate shower, bedroom with two king-sized beds, mini bar and lounge area. It also had tea/coffee/toast facilities, hairdryer, security safe, colour television, in-house movies, AM/FM radio and high speed data connection for internet access. The view of the Swan River was beautiful. The hotel also has a magnificent pool and a lovely garden which could both be seen from the room.
