Labelled as the "City of Lights" by astronaut John Glenn after his historic fly-over in 1962, Perth has got to be one of the world's friendliest places. People are always ready to lend a hand and start up a conversation wherever you may be. They say "good morning" as you past by them in the street without you even knowing them.
I was lucky to visit Perth in June 2004. This was my third visit, however, in 1990/1 I lived there for 13 months. Should I ever wish to change my home, I would go back to Perth. |
| | This is the Intercontinental Burswood Resort where I stayed for one night. Also went to the Burswood Dome to see the Sarah Brightman concert. Another night tried my luck at the casino and went away with a few extra dollars :-) Lots to do at the Burswood for a night out...live music and fun. Check out my Hotel Tips for more info. |
