We spent 4 days on Isla Colon in Bocastown to soak up some of the island culture, enjoy the sun and renew our visas to go back to Costa Rica. We unforutnately fell upon quite a bit of rain but managed 1.5 days of great sun and got to know the area quite well.

The island is small and safe and from there you can access many different islands, beaches, snorkelling and diving sites and wildlife by boat, taxi or bike. Many expats have made their homes here and you will find a decent but intimate night life, good selection of food and enough activities to keep you busy (unless it rains). In that case, bring some cards, books, good humour and a thirst for some beers!
