In case anybody is wondering about Livermore, California here is a little introduction. While Livermore is mostly know as a bedroom community for cities like San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose, it also has an identity unique unto itself. Livermore has been know for its wine growing which dates back a least as far as its better known cousin Napa. Livermore valley wines are sold worldwide and have an outstanding reputation. Some of the more know wineries are Wente, Concannon, and Fenestra just to name a few. Livermore is also know for its rodeo. At one time it was one of the largest on the west coast of the US. Todays rodeo is a week along festival. Lastly, Livermore is know for physics. The Lawerence Livermore, and Sandia laboratories attract some of the brightest minds in physics.
