Peru is a country that talks to the imagination of many, in Belgium everybody knows the comic Kuifje “de zonnetempel” or to the rest of the world Tintin and the temple of the sun. Our hero comes into contact with Inca’s an hidden Inca temple for the eyes of the Western world. Peru is for me the country of the Inca’s, the hidden temples, lake Titicaca and lost cities like Machu Picchu or what to think about the mysterious lines in the Nasca desert. Peru has a next to his history also a beautiful nature from rainforests to the mountains of the Andes.
Must see
After a 3 day inca trail over the high passes of the Andes, we reach Machu Picchu, the mythical city of the Inca’s. For most tourists is Machu Picchu the symbol of Peru and off course a must see place. But Peru is much more then Machu Picchu, you have the beautiful Colca Canyon, the friendly Amantani at Lake Titicaca, the signs in the Nasca dessert, Peru has a lot to offer, but we all are drown by Machu Picchu and the Inca’s.
