|  | The area around Franshoek is very nice to explore. It's like time stood still.
The people are relaxed and life goes by at a small pace.
Unfortunately we only had a few hours to explore Franshoek before we had to go through the Karoo towards Oudsthoorn. |
After the wine route, we decided to drive across the Karoo. All the way, all those very small bushes and sand. Nothing else to see. Traveling like that is like driving through a moon landscape, nothing to focus on, just drive. And then you try to follow a car that drives in front of you. | | |

The town has a picturesque setting! Always so many different things to see and do in South Africa! |
