<font size="2">Well, what can I say... Atlanta is a fairly decent place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Oh... wait a second... I do live here! The reasons to avoid this area all center around traffic conditions, which range from unbelievably bad to appalling. Visit one of my favorite sites, <a href="http://www.tardsite.com/" target="_blank"> The Atlanta Roadways Digest (TARD)</a> to see what I'm talking about.

Still, the place has a lot of Civil War history, though there isn't much left since everything from that era was pretty much burnt to the ground. For example, you'll see a sign to the effect of "Site of Such-And-Such Famous Person's House - 1864" and it'll be a vacant field or maybe a forest. There are however a lot of cannons from the war. Don't stand too close to them. Many Yanks and Confed'rates alike lost their heads this way.
