Favorite spot for all, 119 miles north of Phoenix and 28 miles south of Flagstaff.
Situated in the heart of a unique, geological area features massive red rock monoliths, amazed at the sight of giant, fire red buttes and mesas. These natural landmarks are appropriateky named Courthouse, Bell Rocks, Cathedral and Coffepot rocks and more.
These rocks have been the backdrop of several western movies or TV commercials.
I suggest to drive through VERDE VALLEY as well. Few canyons to drive through, Oak Creek Canyon, Red Rock Canyon to name a few.
There are camping grounds around the area. I suggest to visit the tourist center for more information.
