Residenz (unesco world heritage). The Residenz was the castle of the princebishops. Dont miss the garden, court church and on the south wing the Martin von Wagner museum. Admission is 8 DM. Design by Balthasar Neumann and decorated by many artist like Tiepolo.

Forteress Marienberg. Admission is 5 DM. Situated on top of a hill. You have two path to the top. One that takes 20 minutes and the other 40 minutes by foot.I took the 20 minutes path up the and the 40 minutes path going down (smart man). On the path going down you go thru the vineyard and a spectacular view of the city.

Churches. MarienKapelle, Dom St. Kilian, Neumunster, Franziskanerkirche, Augustinerkirche, Karmelitenkirche, St. Peter, St. Stephan, St. Gertraud, Deutchhauskirche, St. Johannis are all well worth a visit. The different architecture makes them unique.
