Kids bought us tickets for the opera Aïda. Since I never was in Scheveningen I just booked a hotel.

I found this nice hotel and phoned for a room but the only room he got was for 4 persons. A bit much so I said no.
Hubby weren t too upset so I phoned again and told the kind man we took the room.
Only available for 2 nights, he said, but because I phoned for the second time, surprise, he found out he got a small bedroom for us...and not too expensive! Yeehaa!

Wow, this sleep over in Scheveningen sure has done me good!

The Kurhaus, Scheveningen

Passed glory, like a giant cookey yar it sits on the beach .. I wasn t too much impressed by this building...ok it is nice architecture yet all the modern addings such as beach tents and advertisements in front of it are no good..

Did you actually see the opera Aida in Scheveningen? How was it? I've been to the beach in Scheveningen a few times, in various phases of my life. Don't ask me to pronounce it, though!
