Haha, always good for the soul to see someone else wrestle as you just did ... |
| View from Manerba Rocca towards the east |
Driving from below sealevel to Lago di Garda, several metres above sealevel. Lake Garda has a lenth of 51,6km and stretches 4km across in the north and 17km in the south. To drive around it one has to cover 160 km. At its deepest point the Lake reaches 346m and lies 65m above sea level.
Just read somewhere that in 1786 J.W. Goethe stayed some time at the lake and he just loved all the different views one can have at the lake. Useless info! I know ;-) |
| Miss Melone , Camping Rolli, Manerba | Chiara (Pollon) came to meet us and we had a great time!!!!! Haha, we had Dutch meat balls, Italian potatoes and some veggies.... Great fun preparing the meal!
In 2004 we met Chiara again, this time in her hometown Genova. Had again a very good time and fell in love with Genova! |

keeweechic Tue Sep 28, 2004 03:25 UTC The young are fearless :-) Wow you got more than bargained for with that Italian. Gosh you had squat toilets? Sounds like you had a fun night with Chiara.. lots of calories..lol | MATIM Sun Sep 5, 2004 21:23 UTC I agree with you about those electric lights, I don't like them either! We also light a candle when we visit a church. Once I lost sight in my eyes for a while, and to thank God to give my eyes back, we keep on light candles when we visit church | sim1 Sat Oct 11, 2003 22:24 UTC Great page Roelien!!!
