Cape Region is where I stayed for about 2 weeks traveling with a car rental. Got car rental for slightly more than $10USD per day using a Swiss Air Freq Flyer membership discount. (Never even had to FLY Swiss Air to Qualify for membership!) Gas is cheap in S Africa, too! Stayed in Tulbagh, Stellenbosch, Springbok, and then headed into Namibia. WONDERFUL trip about 28 days in total. Would love to go back Cape is like Napa/Sonoma. VERY fond memories and great WINES and food. |
