I Grew Up in Jersey....

And I used to cut school and drive down to Seaside Heights or Asbury Park. Going to the Shore w/ some old friends, family and little ones was truly a blast from the past.

Pros:The Shore isn't that bad...
Cons:They Charge you to go on the beach

I love Seaside Heights.! Just about every time I go, I get a bag of zeppoles -- always without sugar because I am sweet enough as I am (haha). Best from Central NJ, Bill

Love the historical insights, hated the zeppolis but ate them anyway. Maybe one day I will bring the grandchildren down here when they are old enough.

I like the way you work in a lot of history with your tips. Am planning a trip to New Jersey this coming spring - mainly to see the Pine Barrens - but maybe a day on the shore too.
