VT'rs meet in Durham!

For the heck of it, a few VT'rs in the N.C. area (plus one Northerner - From Herndon, VA) decided to get together for a nice leisurely lunch in Durham. About 11 showed up and we had a great time. Good food, great company and you know the rest. (A good time was had by all!)

If you are ever in Durham, try the Federal. GREAT food. Interesting service and kitchy ambiance. Really good value too...

About eleven us showed up and had a blast. If you ever get an opportunity to meet up with VT'rs... do so! It's fun. You meet new people and none are axe murderer' or something weird. (At least no one brought axes to lunch!)

Pros and Cons

Pros:Good small city with big town feel!
Cons:Probably feels like a step child to Raleigh
In a nutshell:Duke is a nice campus to visit. I like this town!

This was a REALLY fun lunch GTG! What happened to the pic the waitress took of us all? Hope to see y'all (see I'm becoming a North Carolinian after all those years growing up as a Yankee) again soon. Wine country GTG sounds good....

Very nice Patty great pic's For once I seen pic's of a VT group and beside you and Steve and olddude .I did not know any of the others . It;s great to see new VT members Patty ,looks like a great time with sunshine as well
