Lovely View

Blowing Rock has the attraction, "Blowing Rock" that sounds pretty hokey to me. I didn't go to it. I pretty much drove through Blowing Rock admiring its beauty getting to the Blue Ridge Parkway... but on the way home, we stopped for dinner at the Canyons of Blue Ridge Restaurant. See my tip. I think Blowing Rock's redeeming quality is its view and access to nature. Can't say much about the #1 primary attraction, "Blowing Rock."

Visit Blowing Rock... certainly go to Canyons!

Great restaurant tip, but sorry you missed the Rock. I used to live not too far from Blowing Rock - a really beautiful part of the country.

I think we passed on Blowing Rock but the name sounds awfully familiar....The Blue Ridge parkway sure is pretty :-)
