On Wednesday night... 11pm... Mr Bigg calls from NY and says, "What are you doing this weekend?"
I replied... "Not much... gotta babysit for some friends Saturday night. Why?!"
Mr Bigg blurts out, "Meet me in Puerto Rico!"
Again, I counter with, "Man... I'm unemployed. You know I'm busted. Plus, I promised my friends I'd take care of their baby."
Mr Bigg : "Find a baby sitter... I'll pay for your ticket!"
Pause.... Pause..... Pause....
Patty: "See you at SJU on Friday around 2pm!"

Well, maybe not THAT far back, but Mr Bigg WAS my 80s; my first love. Hooking up with him, so to speak, for a weekend was a blast from the past. It was as if the years in between were never there. Friends for life, he and I. |
