Restaurant Name: Gran Bar Retiro
VERY light - plenty of windows. Views of a park. Relatively new restaurant with open feel. Fire place too, if I remember correctly. CHILDREN friendly as many families where there on a lovely, crisp fall June Day. (My Family Foto shows the open style restaurant with lots of windows!!!)
Favorite Dish: We had a GREAT Cab./Tannat. You can't beat this kind of wine! Tannat is to Uruguay what Malbec is to Argentina - an authentic and emblematic variety of its adoptive country

Restaurant Name: Panini's
Italian. Fresh prepared, nice presentation, lovely atmosphere. Upscale, leisurely!
Favorite Dish: Ravioli with Salmon was spectacular. So too was the wine, naturally. Starter was a mushroom and seafood dish. This was okay.
