Off The Beaten Path: Pantanos de Villa
  • Tip Rating:
  • If you're interested in birding, or nature in general, and don't have much time to travel around Peru, take a day trip to the Pantanos de Villa wetlands just south of Lima. I took a guided trip with Gunnar Engblom of Kolibri Expeditions, and added 25 new birds to my life list in just one morning.

where did you write about Inca cola? Didnīt find it ;-) However, you saw quite a lot in 48 hours...I never heard about these wetlands, sounds interesting!

You saw quite a bit during these 48 hours - considering, that there was a little business to be done as well! Nice page!

Mango's is good value for money. The owner. Mr. Modenesi, is also the owner of the highly reputed 'Costa Verde' restaurant.
