Midland???? Yes.... Midland!!! On the first glimpse Midland looks like a boring city, but on a closer look there is much more to see and do here than you think. At least.... that is what happened to me :-)

* There is the harbour where you can take a boattour through the 30,000 Islands
(the largest collection of freshwater islands in the world)
* The whole city center is filled with murals (see my local custom tips)
* There are some fun shops here, like the lighthouse shop
* In the area there are a couple of interesting musea :
- Wye Marsh
- Sainte-Marie among the Hurons
- Discovery Harbour (in Penetanguishene).

Wow I just love murals in a place, there is so much depicted in them. They are so cool - so much artistic talent here. Damm.. I missed out on my wax with wash before...lol. what a great place.

I thought I was the only one that got bored with Sainte-Marie among the Hurons! I was dragged there several times on school trips, and then by my parents many years ago! Good to see it hasn't changed; but I guess that's the whole point! lol

Well it's better than the Midland, Michigan I lived in for a couple years, a least they don't breath Dow Chemical's air everyday!!...will have surgey soon to remove new appentage growth from forehead........
