Let me start with these "must see activities" with the biggest tourist attraction (I think) of Toronto : the CN tower! This picture of the tower was taken from inside the Skydome (the baseball stadium of the "Toronto Blue Jays"), which is next to the CN tower.
The CN tower is the world's tallest free-standing structure and was built in 1976. The tower measures 553 metres in height. From its Lookout Level it offers a great view of the city. A fun feature is the glass floor, you can test your courage by taking a walk across the glass floor 113 stories above the ground. Hahaha, I did it! after some hesitation though, hahaha. From there you can travel even higher up the tower to the Sky Pod another 33 storeys above ground.
Prices There are several packages that visitors can purchase. The Total Tower Experience package includes the Look Out, Glass Floor, Sky Pod, a film, and two rides for $29.99 per person.
Observation Experience packages includes the Look Out, Glass Floor and Skypod for $22.49 (Adult 13-64), $20.49 (Senior 65+), and $17.49 for children (4-12).
The Look Out and Glass Floor package goes for $15.99 (adults), $13.99 (seniors) and $10.99 (children).
Location : You can't miss see the CN tower, because it dominates the skyline of Toronto. It is located in the heart of Downtown Toronto, right in between the SkyDome and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street, just north of Bremner Blvd

When you get up the tower, you HAVE to stand on the Glass Floor! Hahaha, I did! Yep, I found it very scary, it took me quite a while before I dared to put a foot on it. Totally stupid of course to be so afraid, because there is no difference between standing on the normal floor or the glass floor.... except for the view.... eeeeeks!
The Glass Floor has been specifically designed for the CN Tower. It is 256 square feet of solid glass that is five times stronger than the required weight bearing standard for commercial floors. It could actually withstand the weight of 14 large hippos.... well, that is what their website says, hahahaha, but why would anyone would like to put 14 large hippos on there!?

Next to the CN tower is the Skydome or Rogers Centre (as you could see in my previous tips). The Skydome is a huge stadium, which is the home of (among others) the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club.
This piece of art that you can see in the picture is on the corner of the building. It is created by Canadian artist Michael Snow and is called "The Audience" It is a portrayal of fans and it is made in two pieces : on the northeast and northwest entrances to SkyDome and is really fun to see.

One thing you should try to do is go to a baseball game. The first game I actually saw from the top of the CN tower. Hahaha, I was so frustrated looking down seeing the game going on, and wondering why I didn't have any tickets to the game! I like baseball and seeing them playing the game made me eager to go to a real baseball game myself one day. And in May 2002 I finally got a chance to go to my first "major" baseball game, and it was great! Our friends got free tickets for the game, and invited us to join them... and of course I didn't say no :-)) I love baseball, and going to a 'real' game was something I always wanted to do. Please take a look at the sport travel tips to see more photos of the game.

Steam Whistle brewery is located right across the street from the CN tower, toward the lake. I haven't been in the brewery itself yet, but I would love to go one day.
The major beer brands in Ontario are "Molson Canadian" and "Labatts Blue", which are the typical "lighter" American beers. But luckely Ontario has lots of more tastefull beers as well. There are many micro breweries in Ontario, like Steam Whistle, that offer a good beer with lots of flavour. I can't comment on Steam Whistle because I don't know this beer so very well, but I can recommend you another beer (my favourite) called "Ricards Red".
Tours and tastings at Steam Whistle Brewery Tours and tastings offer the public a chance to experience, firsthand, the process of creating a craft brew. Beginning with the story of Steam Whistle - its founding, the people, and the history of The Roundhouse - the tour winds through our brewhouse, the fermentation vessels and the bottle-shop will provide a close-up look at how Steam Whistle Pilsner is made. The tour ends with a sampling and informal chat at the tasting bar.
Tours run daily and take approximately 30 minutes. The basic tour costs $4 per person and includes a taste of our Pilsner and a souvenir glass or a bottle opener. Or, take the tour but select from other souvenir choices: $6 for the Pint Glass tour; $7 for the whistle tour; $10 for the Ball Cap tour; and $16 for the T-shirt tour. Tours begin daily at 1pm and run every hour. The last tour runs 1 hour before closing. Reservations are required for tours after 4pm and anytime for groups of 10 or more.
