"Tresticklan National Park" Rävmarken by sim1

Tresticklan National Park often is described as an area where a giant has used a big rake, and in a violent stroke from south to north, created a pattern of valley and ridges. The forest has grown up after a big fire 250 years ago. Some tree still exists from that time but most trees are around 100 - 150 years old. There are many beautiful lakes in the park (at least 80)

I love the National Parks in Sweden and it is a dream of Åke and me to have visited all of them at some day. It won't be easy as not all of them are so easy to reach, but we want to give it a try anyway :-)

Location:
15 k northwest of Ed, county of Älvsborgs, in the west of Sverige to the border of Norge.

How to get to the park:
Go north from Ed towards Nössemark. At 2 km north of Rävmarken look out for signs. Follow road 2 km west to Råbocken.

Size of the park: 29,09 km2
