If you, like me, have fallen in love with the beech forest because the oceans of flowers popping up in the carpet of leave during springtime and its mysterious and magical light through the dense "heaven" of leaves during summer, this is the place for you. Hihi yes I live close to a small beech forest and enjoy it often during my walks :-). Beech grows mostly in the southern part of Sweden and also around the lake Mälaren.

I love the National Parks in Sweden and it is a dream of Åke and me to have visited all of them at some day. It won't be easy as not all of them are so easy to reach, but we want to give it a try anyway :-)

How to get to the park:
The main entrance at Skäralid can be reached by car from Röstånga or Ljungbyhed.

Size of the park: 16,25 km2
