The gondola.... mmmmm, what is Venice without it! It feels to me as a tourist trap... but a lovely one to see. hahaha, and that is why you can see much more gondola photos on my 'tourist trap' section.

That's the Santa Maria Dei Miracoli, built 1481-9 by architect Pietro Lombardo. Located near Rialto on the San Marco side just into eastern Cannaregio. Often called the 'jewel-box'. Restored by Save Venice recently. Thanks, Save Venice! | lagitane Tue Jun 24, 2008 08:03 UTC
